No, I’m not talking about the type of submarine that patrols the Atlantic, standing ready to launch a massive nuclear strike at any moment, I’m talking about the sandwich. Some of the best subs I’ve ever had were at P&M Deli in Branford. I was eating one today, and enjoying a Foxon park soda, and I got to thinking how great it is to have great local Italian delis. Society today is so focused on eating cheap, and fast, not many want to slow down, and pay a larger price for local cuisine. I’m glad that I have been exposed to such great food, because I just like to eat.
